What a great story! I especially loved the banter.

It's great to hear the banter worked, since it's not really my strong suit.

Thanks for commenting!

Well this is turning out to be a great morning! I love nothing more than a great cup of joe and a great spn fic to read. Thank-you so much for this. You got the voices just right and you happen to choose one of my all time big creep outs... PUPPETS as Dean would say yeargh! Thank-you to Muse's Fool for directing me here.

xxoxoxox to you both.

Why thank you!

Hee. Evil puppets! I love this, fun casefile, Sam & Dean banter. The evil puppet fight scene was convincing (I am sure that's harder to do than it looks) and the OC's were well done.

It's very hard to write a fight with puppets in a way that convinces the reader your hero is actual in danger. *g* I'm glad it all worked for you!

Cool. Funny, and great way to deal with the Dean back from hell issues without being super angsty, just right back into the job and having it go a little sideways on them.

I also really liked the puppet demons concept, not the least because it was funny the first time I saw that used on Angel, but this wasn't just a total ripoff, it felt fresh in it's own right. Hee!

And Shana was a great original character - it'd be awesome if we got someone like her on the show for an episode.

I would love to see Shana too. And thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

"Oh, c'mon, I totally had that frog. He was going down."

Nice. I like the way you handled the angstier stuff without running from it or going purple, and included Dean's trademark humor.

Dean is always gonna be funny--even when he's being beaten up by possessed puppets.

Thank you!

I totally enjoyed this! awesomecakes!

This was great. The puppets were funny-yet creepy.

Thank you!

I knew there was a reason the Muppets freaked me out as a kid.

Creepy as all get out.

13th-Sep-2008 03:50 am (UTC)
See, now, I adore the Muppets, which is why evil puppets are so creepy.

Glad you liked!

Possessed puppets!!?! MADE OF AWESOME!
13th-Sep-2008 03:50 am (UTC)
Hah! Well, Victoria gets the credit for the concept, but I'm glad you liked the implementation!

Really good! I enjoyed the hints at Dean's time in Hell while not goingover the top with it. Evil puppets rock ;-)

Thank you!

That was wonderful! It managed to go from hilarious to creepy to melancholy, but the shifts in tone never felt jarring.

I have to say that I'm curious to know more about what happens to Shana and Billy.
13th-Sep-2008 04:05 am (UTC)
Oh, thank you! It was fun to write.

I hope Shana gets out of town soon. And somehow I think Billy will be okay, with his big sister looking after him. *g*

great read. Post season 3 but back to basics of what makes the show great-- case file, brotherly banter, a touch of angst, and a twisted sense of humor. The puppets were awesome; I really liked your descriptions too. And I really liked Shana and Billy too, how Dean and Sam don't just swoop in and make everything puppies and roses, but life goes on. Great job.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it.
13th-Sep-2008 04:37 pm (UTC)
Dear doG, I loved it. And now I want a sequel 5-10 years in the future, when Shana's a hunter or a resource or something!
15th-Sep-2008 05:54 pm (UTC)
Yeah, that would be cool, wouldn't it? I liked her.
